    Great graphics card

Excellent graphics card, which I bought to replace another of the same model that was beginning to act strangely. The new card went straight in and was immediate recognized by Windows 7 and the same driver that was installed for the previous card. It performs just as well as the old card and gets the same performance rating from Windows 7 as the previous card did, and it resolved the issues I was having with the old card (it was black out both monitors without explanation or warning, which the tech support folks determined to be a hardware issue not related to either environment or configuration issues).

  • Powerful, good price/performance, hot and not good for heavy loads.

The EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 is an excellent graphics card for its price. The only inconvenients are that it's a hot card, running at ~90% loaded @ 78°C and fan @ 80% (3570-3600rpm). You might say: oh, but fan @ 80% is not a problem, and YES, it is. It is very noisy at that fan speed, and the max. speed is 85% by default (although you can unlock it up to 100%, but I wouldn't recommend that, since it is very, very noisy). Also, it idles at 52°C @ 44% fan (1590-1620rpm). All of this was taken at 28°C room temperature, 74% humidity. For heavy loads, as when the GPU is +99% loaded, the card throttles down to 405mHz (instead of the 797mHz stock). This is intended as a TDP limit, since the GTX 580 has the same issue. Currently, it is only bypass-able with the 580, but not with the 570. That ...

  • This Card Is one of the Best for the Price! Great for Games!

I love This Card! I have never found the need to overclock this as I find it plenty powerful enough at stock speeds. I only have one at the moment but hope to pair it up with another one for a sweet SLI setup in the near future,Not that it needs to be, I have never ran into a game this hot-rod couldn't handle..not even close! I got a good deal on mine($187.00 Used)and would gladly do it again. Every once in a while I've seen this go for as low as $160 Used on Ebay, but for the price,I think you would have a hell of a time finding something better or more powerful under 200$! And If you do, please let me know! If you find a good deal on this card, do not let it get away! You wont regret the great performance for the buck! Good Luck!

  • Good GPU if you have the GT 710.

Bought this for my cousin, and he loves it! Got the driver and resolution working correctly, and he is now able to have much better gaming performance than his previous GPU, the GT 710.

  • Doesn’t play modern games!

This card cannot handle any modern games so don’t expect to be using it for any games like Fortnite.
