Another Great ViewSonic
ViewSonic makes some of the best PC monitors available if not thee best and this one follows that tradition for them. Not only does it look good but it's built well and has great color and a very sharp picture. It's great for 3D gaming and just all around PC use. The high resolution and contrast ratio and fast response time makes this the #1 choice in its size. When buying this make sure you have a vieo card that can handle the 1680X1050 resolution. OK for the used price. Paid $49 for a new $300 monitor.
Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase for the used price of $49. Picture clarity and refresh rates are very good for my needs (mostly internet, office, no games). Dislikes are: Setup buttons under the bottom frame which are difficult to see. On wake-up from standby mode, you have to select DVI mode from settings button. Lastly, and the most annoying is the mouse pointer goes past the right screen boundary making if difficult to find the pointer. You have to move the mouse at least 1.5" to the left to see the pointer again.Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase for the used price of $49. Very nice monitor, good size, great picture. I bought this as an upgrade for our office and it definitely makes a difference. There are no USB ports on it which would be nice, but it does run VGA or DVI with audio. Crystal clear image.
