These are some of the slowest USB Wi-Fi adapters one can get. I now own several. I keep them in my travel "come fix my computer" kits because they work with __everything__. From some of the oldest XP systems to somewhere around Ubuntu 8, just plug it in and it works. Not so much for later USB Wi-Fi adapters. These are what you reach for when a system is totally hosed and you need to download something to fix it. Even when your OS can't find the driver for the built-in NIC card, it can generally use one of these.
