My first Tripp Lite surge suppressor was an under the monitor control panel for a computer. When the indicator lights began to flicker and burn out, Tripp Lite replaced it under warranty. I had used it for over 11 years and they still replaced it. FREE! Unlike many surge suppressors, the Isobar Ultra is of all metal construction; not plastic. It is heavy duty. I have used the isobar units throughout my home for several years without any problems. They protect our televisions, computers, sewing machines, etc. During heavy thunderstorms when we have momentary outages and near lightning strikes, I know that our electronics are protected and we have never had an item connected to an isobar not function like new when the power resumed.
