    Stylish, ultra fast, 3.5 inch HD external enclosure.

    Beautifully made, easy to setup, backwards compatible with other USB standards. Love the blue LED HD access light. Only a few inches larger than actual HD. Comes complete with stand. Would have liked to have rubber feet on case to lay it horizontally. Apart from that best external 3.5" case by far.

    Best performing USB 3.1 enclosure for 3.5” drives

    I bought this to replace the icybox usb3.1 enclosure I was using. Both are USB 3.1 enclosures but this one is far quicker. The icybox seemed to read a few files then pause for several seconds, then repeat. It wasn’t seemingly able to keep up. This startech product is so much quicker. Internally they are much the same, plastic tray to screw the drive into, the true difference comes once you are reading and writing to the drive.
