Compatible with popular media devices, such as iPods, iPhones, Blackberry units, and tablets, the Sennheiser headphones feature a 3.5-mm jack with a gold-plated 6.3-mm (0.25-inch) screw-on adapter to meet all needs. To deliver a powerful and dynamic sound with deep bass and clear notes, the over-the-head headphones have a sensitivity of 112 dB, a 32-ohms impedance, and a 14-Hz to 20-kHz response. With approximately 3 m (9.84 feet) of cable length, the Sennheiser HD 205 is flexible and versatile in any situation. For convenient transportation and mobility, the Sennheiser headphones also come with a protective pouch.

    Powerful, bassy, headphones

    I use these phones for solo practice (bass - line 6 POD - Behringer 5 stereo channel mixer - headphones). They sound great, full, and articulate, but it's bass heavy. Even with dialing out some bass EQ!!! They also aren't light. They fall forward of you don't have them on well enough or if you start to rock out. Still, so much better than earbuds or lightweight phones. Dramatic improvement! A good buy.

    Unbeatable quality for the price!!!

    The 205's may not be the best headphones on the market, however, they are one of the best when in comparison to it's dollar-for-dollar competitors. The HD 205's have great sound quality, full and precise, with very limited words for improvement. They do a great job with noise-cancellation as they are generously padded. I will say that they aren't the most comfortable set I've worn - they're quite tight. Also, they don't seem ultra-durable, so trying to "break them in" or even adjusting the band strap seems almost stressful. They cord, although lengthy for studio use, is somewhat of a bother if you do not need all that length. (Thumbs Up): Sound quality seems unmatched by it's priced competitors.     Decent Headphones- Best used with headphone amp. BUY IT

    These are some great sounding cans at a fairly low price. Mainly for DJ's, these have some great sound for overall music listening if paired with a headphone amplifier. OVERALL: Great headphones with a solid build and punchy sound. The lows are a bit to be desired when paired with any media player/mp3 player (iPod, iPhone, etc.), but the mids and highs take the cake on this set. As the lows are a bit well, low... These headphones are best used with a headphone amp. *When used with a headphone amp/DJ equipment - these are among the best sounding headphones I've owned, and I've owned a lot.     Fair. There are better headphones out there for the same price, or cheaper.

    These headphones are okay, but not even close to perfect. To me, they fit too tightly, and the cups are too small. The headphones press against parts of your ears, making wearing them rather uncomfortable after an hour or so. Audio wise, these headphones have way too much treble. Mid range can be a bit weak. Bass is excellent though. The high treble makes listening at loud volumes almost ear splitting, so no cranking these up. That said if you can handle the high treble, these headphones will get pretty loud. I didn't pick up on any distortion or crackling. The cups are easily detachable, which opens up the possibility of adding larger cups, if any are made for this model. Add larger cups and set these up with an equalizer to tone down the treble and up the mid range a bit, and you can ...

    Solid good headphone

    I bought the headphones for piano practice. They are excellent for this purpose. The headphones have great bass without booming and lots of volume as well as great dynamic range. All defects in my MP3 collection seem to stand out with this headset. Excellent recordings are super sounding. The headphones are very tight on my head which is not large. I checked the response curve and there is nothing comparable for the price. In summary, they are not the most comfortable and the sound may be too detailed.
