When I bought an Epson XP830 printer, I had no idea that someday I'd need to change waste ink pads. No idea there was waste ink. Got the error message and watched a You Tube video how to change them. Figured I could take this on, so I bought the replacement pads and holder from "scandig". What a great idea. I didn't want pads and configure them myself. Between You Tube and 'scandig', I had the job done in 10 minutes. Finding waste ink reset app was harder. Job was done. A++++ seller. Thanks much

    If you like to do-it-yourself, this method works great to reset your printer counter.

    This was a perfect fit for my EPSON XP830 Expression Premium Printer. I also had to purchase the Waste Reset Key for $8.99. Total cost to fix the printer was around $31.00. The counter has been reset and everything is working as designed.

    Great Replacement OEM Ink Pad

    Most consumers would probably buy a new printer when they receive a message that their ink pad was full and their printer won't print. I searched for solutions and the correct OEM Epson part on the internet, along with videos on YouTube that gave me step by step instructions for making the repair. Challenged by the project and being mechanical, it took about 1 hour+ to open the printer and carefully put it back together. The most important and required last step was to locate instructions or program on the net for how to reset the printer pad counter. Without this, the printer will not operate. Some people sell the program on Ebay but after about 30 minutes, I found it on the Epson site. And VOILA, my printer is working perfectly!

    Epson XP-830 fixed!

    Awesome! After receiving the "end of useful life" message on my Epson XP-830. I purchased this OEM waste ink assembly and WICReset Key from OctoInkjet and voila! After watching a YouTube video on how to change it and I am printing again. I would not pay more than $20 for this product though. The key cost just under $10. So that is 1/3 cost for new printer.
