    Did NOT Work for Me

    I did NOT realize there was more than one "package" for AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+. I sent CPU back to vendor on my dime, hoping for some support on my required package...got No reply.

    A must buy for the older PC's.

    A great processor! I was using the AMD 3800+ 64bit single core clocked at 2.4ghz, and when I put this in, I noticed about 50% difference right off the bat! Excellent.

    socket AM2 Athlon 64 X2 4200

    I needed a good dual core Athlon 64 for AM2+ motherboard. This worked great, and was a good price for a used Athlon 64 X2 4200. I am pleased. No problems, bent pins, or other issues.

    There is none better for the investment.

    Extremely smooth operation. Low power use. Cool operator. Excellent choice for all around computing. Nothing negative to report.
