I've been using a M310 wireless mouse for many years. My last one recently stopped working so I looked for a replacement. They are becoming harder to find these days so I was glad to see them listed on eBay at a great price. My Windows PC quickly identified the USB adapter, downloaded the needed software, and quickly set up the mouse.

Normally I like Logitech products, but definitely not this one. I thought the first one I ordered was defective since the cursor would not always track normally across the screen. The cursor would sporadically either stop moving or would jump around as I moved the mouse. I tried resetting the transponder several times in different USB ports, but the same phenomenon would occur. So I contacted Logitech and they ran me through several scenarios to try and find a solution; none of which worked. Finally, they agreed to send me an identical new mouse. I encountered the exact same problem with the new mouse. Time to give up and go a different direction. So I dug around in all the old computer parts I have in a file drawer and,lo and behold, I found a brand new HP wireless mouse that came with the computer. It has a transponder about the same size as Logitech's, but so far it is working flawlessly. I'm just so surprised that not one, but two Logitech products did not measure up.Read full review

There are several models that do a good job in use. They're fast enough, smooth enough, ergonomic enough, etc. What this one has over all the others: it gets LONG TERM use out of a rechargeable AA battery. I've bought several for different computers and they all work for months between battery recharges - and we're on the computer at least 40 hours a week. This one is small, tidy, easy to transport - you just pluck out the receiver and push it into its storage slot inside the mouse body, replace the cover and go. There are Logitech mice that kill batteries in just a few days of heavy use. This one goes on and on. They're also tough - one of my office chairs routinely knocked things off the desktop and my M310 was fine after just being turned off and on again. I buy a few for gifts and they're always appreciated. People notice how long the battery lasts. Buy it, your Windows machine will appreciate it and so will your wallet.Read full review

The Logitech M310 laser mouse is light, portable, and comfortable to use with either hand. It's a pleasure to use, being that it possesses only the basically needed controls. The receiver is unobtrusive and highly sensitive, plus features especially when used in conjunction with a laptop.

I simply love being free from the tug of a mouse cord. I can position my arm and hand such that the mouse becomes an effortless extension of my thoughts. Physically, the mouse is sturdy and well designed. It has a great battery life and is well supported by Logitech software.
