    Samsung is SAFEST BET ~;-)

    This particular m.2 is a SATA III, and actually a bit slower than the 2.5" version of the 850 evo. I have about a dozen of their drives now, most of which will last as many years, and beyond their top performance characteristics? They're all likely to exceed a Petabyte or two before failing. Even 840/850 evo/pro drives won't last forever, and the manner in which a drive eventually fails is critically important -- most manufacturers have firmwares that simply instruct an unreliable drive to never again reboot, whereas Samsung gives ya every possible opportunity to recover data (but, surely, you've backed everything up by now ~;-)

    Super fast 4 second boot up.

    I had a Samsung 2.5 480 GB drive for the os. I wanted a complete is backup. Not merely a recovery image. So I bought this and cloned the os partition. Made this the first boot option. And picked up some speed on the way. You can't go wrong with the 850 because of its sata PCIe connection it is the recommended drive for my motherboard. Good luck to all you speed freaks.

    Pretty good

    I got a pretty decent deal when I bought this, am pretty happy with performance so far. I use this SSD as my boot drive and it performs the job to expectations. Easy to install, I had a few hiccups trying to get my pc to recognize both this and my HDD at the same time but that was a fairly quick fix as well. Not much else to say. It stores data. It's compact and installs right into your motherboard. Would get it again (assuming this one doesn't die prematurely).

    Much better than expected, well worth the money.

    great product, better results than expected. 40x the speed of regular hdd. 8-10 second boot times. this was a good idea i had. would have preferred very much to have had nvme version but thats really the fault of my own hardware. excellent product, have and would recommend to anyone.
