    Rocky start but better for now.

    The drive is better for newer laptops, 2009 and later, I think because of all the advanced features. After cloning my hard drive to a new Hitachi HTS727550A9E364, it started to power cycle every 3 -5 minutes and became pretty aggravating. I thought the HD was failing with all the pinging noise it was making. But I checked Hitachi's support and downloaded the align tool. After running the align tool the drive is running much more smoothly, with only one power cycle right after and none for 2 days now. I'm hoping that it'll run this good for years but I have a feeling 2012 is not a good year for many HD's. Make sure you backup and have a warranty is all I can say.

    Good Product.Great value

    The Product is good but the only reason it has 4 stars because I was expecting a Hitachi Hard Drive as the ad said. But when it arrived, It was different brand but it is of same size and specifications as Hitachi. So its kind of ok.

    I love Hitachi band name...

    My HP laptop 7 year old, but new hard drive run real cool. I will buy some Hitachi Travelstar for Lenovo Thinkpad T61

    objet de bonne qualité. à recommander

    disque dur acheté pour remplacer un défectueux. bonne qualité, silencieux. les logiciels principaux sont déjà télécharger. il ne reste plus qu'à entrer les clés d'activation. seul bémol, ils sont en anglais.
