    A good price for an absolute essential

    After having just celebrated the holidays, cash was of course a little tight. However I was in NEED of a large capacity external hard drive since I had just suffered two major "electronic" deaths (first my beloved desktop....and then just a few short weeks later, my faithful laptop (hardware issues). I was able to find a refurbished PC similar to my previous one for a steal. However, I was bound and determined not to lose anything this time around—no matter how new the product may be. Having this large capacity external HD, I've been backing my data up regularly. Very affordable and the peace of mind is worth it. I should also mention it's super glossy jet-black design is very attractive. Another great thing about it? It doesn't make a peep! I'm glad I stumbled across it.

    Great Back-up Option

    This external hard drive is, in a word, GREAT! It's not nearly as small as portable external hard drives, but it's not that big either. I also love how it's pretty light but still feels sturdy and well made at the same time. The plug and play setup is virtually effortless, and once you plug it in to your system and install tyne built in utility software, you're up and running backing up your system in mere minutes! The backup process itself is relatively quick as well (of course the more things you have to back up, the longer the overall process will take). While backing up, the operation of the hard drive is quiet, and it didn't get warm at all during the process.The fact that you could also use this as a standalone hub to charge your cell phone, tablet, or other usb device is a nice ...

    Nice USB HUB

    The USB 3 hub makes it easy to connect multiple drives together without needing an external hub. I do with the USB Cable was 6ft instead of 3ft, but a minor issue. Read/Write speed was 140 MBps. Very quite, I can not hear it over my PC single fan, and the rubber feet keep it from moving on the desk. But you must hold the drive when plugging in a USB cabel into the hub. So do it when the drive is off. There is no ON/OFF switch on the drive instead it will power off automatically with your computer. 5 months of use without any issues.

    Awesome Drive!

    Just what I needed! Needed more storage for my thousands of pictures, videos, and computer backup. This fit the bill exactly. Transfer from the old external drive was quick and easy. Only thing is that it is bigger than I expected - twice the size of my older one. But it’s manageable. Love this new contraption. Fully worth the price!

    This drive is doing a great job!

    So far, so good! The drive is doing what it's supposed to do, that is, back up all the files, photos, documents, etc., that I've assigned it. I especially appreciate the additional USB hubs, which are quite useful and practical for my system. I'm using the backup program that comes with Windows 10, not Seagate's program, which I've found to be unreliable.
