Honestly I think Intel is laughing their butts off because this "little" CPU keeps up with low level i7's. I consistently benchmark as high as i5's and i7's and I do not even have a separate GPU. People like to think, especially in the computer world, that you have so spend thousands of dollars to get a good system. That is not true. I spent less than $500 and have a computer that kicks butt. When my friends use my computer they always comment how fast it is and automatically assume I have an i7 or i5. But no, its an i3 2100 with 8GB RAM. Thats it. This CPU is a dual core but it has hyper threading which makes it function 'similar' to a quad core. Not the same but close. Also, it is 3.1 Ghz. I have not met a game that I couldnt play (remember I do not have a GPU, I am using the graphics processor inside the i3)... Yes some games might not perform the best or they play choppy but its an i3 that cost less than $100. If you paired this with some decent RAM and a good GPU, you could perform miracles.Read full review

Very easy and smooth installation. Windows 7 runs smoothly. Intel HD 2000 graphics makes colors more vibrant then many other integrated graphics. This CPU is highly recommended for building a fast low budget PC!
It works well and is reliable and was easy to install.

Intel core i3 is a great processor. It is an affordable processor for its power. It is a very smooth operating processor. It also runs very cool. I have had AMD processors and id rather have an intel because they run so much cooler.
