I had an old i5 650 from an old Dell computer. I decided to salvage the parts and so I purchased this board to pair it with the old 650. It is running overclocked and during testing with OCCT, it holds stable at 4050 mHz (turbo frequency). I am not using the stock intel cooler, however. With an aftermarket Noctua cooler, the CPU runs at around 65 degrees Celsius under full load turbo boosted to around 4050 mHz. By today's standard, the 650 is weak, however, with this board I am able to get a nice stable overclock with acceptable temperatures. It runs games like Fortnite at low settings smoothly paired with a 1060 3 GB. So overall, really good for what it is and this is really good board for overclocking! Would recommend!

I really love this Era for motherboards... as someone who still has ide and fdd drives in current use, only a board like this gives me the full cross-generational compatibility I require... Furthermore, when used in a productivity oriented pc, the age of the cpu and mobo are not great detractors to performance... But if you are gaming, or doing video/img/audio processing, I would recommend something at least a couple generations up from this board... But for my purposes, I couldn't be happier.
