fast, expansive, and low priced.
I purchased this 2.5 harddrive to load Zorin onto it. Now I have one Microsoft and another Hard drive with Ubuntu (Zorin). Zorin comes with excel, word, access, a fast operating system all for under 10 dollars. Now worry about updates. The price of this 250 mbyte Sata HD was amazingly low. So low I may buy another just to have a spare. installation and removal is easy and quick. Everyone should have 2 or more.I purchased this 2.5 harddrive to load Zorin onto it. Travelstar's are great!
The 160gb in my T60p had a corrupt FAT. I won this one & when I got it, loaded it with Win 7 Ult 64bit, it's been smooth ever since. I've always trusted Hitachi's since IBM/Lenovo loads them in all their laptops. Oh, FYI, the 160gb was a Fujitsu. Not to defame them, but whoever the previous owner was, really didn't know how to take care of this machine, since I had to replace the 15.4" screen.
