Good power for less demanding power hungry systems with 12 volt power needs, 400 watts of 12 volt power still goes a long way for most people. With good filtering and proper inline power factor correction, there is no need to worry about killing your motherboard or graphics card. However with older style group regulation and 30 degree C rating it is limited to those of us with good case flow or less need for max power all the time.

It's a fine power supply if you're on a budget. Non modular, but it's sheathed/has cable protection but in the used market that's a nice touch for upgrading a prebuilt PC with a video card instead of using a dodgy sata adaptor. This PSU does have molex connectors, so if you are working with an older rig this may be a good budget solution! I upgraded a PSU and added an older video card to a budget gaming/editing rig, I'm happy. (Please excuse the cable management in the attached photo, prebuilt's have always been a bit messy when it comes to cable management.)

Black cabling and sleeves. Has 8pin eps and two 8pin pcie connectors. Only thing is and not sure because mine is used, it makes a strange ringing sound. But it works.
