GREAT product,easy to hook up and use..
this is my 4th WD external HD,I have 1 for pictures,1 for movies,1 for music and now 1 for software downloads and applications. I do plan on getting another one very soon...EASY to install and use,best of all,with all the stuff I have stored it does not slow down my hard drive on my computer..

My Book Software. Major Pain to install on Vista.
The Hardware is great, the My Book software and Mionet will not install on Vista. Drive needs to be partitioned in Vista. It comes formated in FAT32 but Vista will not recognize unless you delete existing partition reformat NTFS then it works great. No lag time between Drive and system.
