Product Information

In the style of games such as Devil May Cry and God of War, Darksiders' combat is supernaturally infused, taking place across great expanses of land as well as high in the air, with fast-flowing combos, impossibly huge medieval weapons, and destructive blasts of magical energy from mystical firearms. The game is a gruesome, violent, fast-paced combat adventure inspired by the New Testament's Book of Revelation. Players take the role of War, the first of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who was tricked into breaking the eternal laws.<br><br>At odds with both the forces of heaven and hell, War fights alone to reverse a premature Day of Reckoning that he himself is accused of accidentally bringing to be. The game follows his story as he fights across the destroyed civilizations and wildernesses of Earth, hunted by vengeful angels and gleeful demons alike, as he searches for the one who fooled him into fulfilling his purpose too soon, and unsettling the order of existence. The game's graphic-novel inspired art style was directed by Marvel Comics illustrator Joe "Mad" Madureira. Characters are performed by veteran voice actors, including Liam O'Brien as War and Mark Hamill as The Watcher, who often appears in cut-scenes to reveal lore and move the story forward.

    Great service

    It was exactly what i wanted in a game. I bought this game because my Xbox 360 broke and i recently started to use my laptop to game. What's so great is that when you use a Xbox 360 wireless controller it automatically sets the controls to the optimal setting unlike that Assassin's Creed Directors Cut. If you liked God of War you will also enjoy this game and once you beat it you can also get the sequel which will be released soon if i already hasn't been.

    PC gamers beware!

    The game itself is good with well-crafted storyline and the graphics is amazing. However, since Darksiders is original designed for XBOX and PSP, it has a lot of bugs when converting into PC version. I own Darksiders for PC and there are issues that haven't been fixed and it seems to me that THQ doesn't care. I haven't finished the game yet because of the game technical problem with the final battle. I'm quite disappointed!

    Great game!

    Great game and kinda Zelda like except mature rating. If u like action and exploration than this is the game for you. On the Xbox 360 the graphics are suppose be ok but for pc it looks great because u can play with your video card settings. i will not give away the story but I highly recommend this game.

    One horseman will restore balance !!!

    This game is worth every penny, the graphics are remarkable and most of all the main character will blow you away. I enjoy every second of it so don't hesitate to purchase it. Cant wait 2nd part to b released !!!

    Great game to try out!!!... = ]

    I played the demo on the xbox 360 and really liked it...so I thought I would get it for the pc...Im really liking the pc verison...this is a fun game...reminds me of God of War and Prince of Persia...love those games too!!!...

More to explore :
