I like Tripp Lite products, and I have a lot of electronics. It is very handy to have six outlets individually switched: when you have a lot of transformers, which don't have power switches so they can eat up power and generate heat unnecessarily; when you have any devices that have no power switch; and for sequential power-up and power-down, to avoid system damaging and annoying transients. I rely on Tripp Lite for protecting electronic equipment, and it does it reliably and at a good price point. There are more visible brands but you pay a lot for the name, like Monster and Furman.

It's a solid product! The thick heavy-duty cord is nice and supple and not too stiff like cheaper units. Items plugged into this power strip will not fall out on their own because this product has very tight fitting outlets. No more plugging and unplugging my different battery chargers--just turn the individual switch off.

I was looking for an individually switchable outlet strip for my retro gaming consoles. This one fit the bill. Affordable and works great. Some power strips arrange the outlets too close together for a power supply to plug into. This one has them spaced a little farther apart than some I've seen. I did have to stagger the fatter power supplys with the standard plug power supplys to make it work but it worked well. Now I can leave all the consoles plugged in all the time and just switch on the one I want to use at the time.
