Up and Running but with a few catches.
The lamp number was the same, as was mine being an Epson projector, but the older Projector I had (EMP-700) was wired different. (Shorter cable supplied with this unit and connectors were reversed. The lamp CARRIERS are different.) I had to cut off the connector and rewire it to my existing connector and use my old carrier. It is up and running with no issues now, but just be aware that having the same bulb number does not make it a drop in for a different model projector other than those listed in his sales notification. It's just what I wanted
This article was exactly what I was looking for my Epson projector, I wanted a replacement lamp for sometime if I burn the original, as I will immediately replace it.

Minor modifications required
The bulb works well and the carrier fit as well, but I did have to rewire the connections. This was achieved by carefully pulling the wires out from the bottom of the housing and reinserting them to match my old bulb. 5 minute job. All good.
