Item arrive in good shape and as describe. Be advised: This seller takes an inordinate amount of time to ship and claims to be "Understaffed" - Shipping status is inaccurate and "automated"(?). Communication, however, was timely.

Older, but better, Eye-fi product - get it while you can!

Eye-fi switched to their new "Mobi" products awhile ago and I think those are primarily aimed at sending pics from the camera to portable devices. The "Connect" and the "Pro X2" are the older generation ones and work with Eye-fi Center software and can send pics from your camera to Eye-fi center on a PC. I have 6 different cards now for multiple cameras and all sending to one PC with Eye-fi Center. It looks like Sandisk has a deal to distribute the non-Mobi cards, but you can only buy them from overseas (China, Korea, etc.). I have one 8GB card on order via Ebay, as I want to see if those are compatible with Eye-fi Center. Meanwhile, I'm stocking up on the X2 Pros :). If you get a card that is used and it's still left registered to the old user, you can try to beg Eye-fi to ...

Does not work as wifi - don’t buy, DON’T BUY!

Don’t buy, DON’T BUY - Maker of these wifi cards don’t support it anymore. you cannot activate to use as wifi because their servers are permanently down and you need their servers to ACTIVATE for your activation code..all is good for is a a 4GB overpriced sd cards..nothing more. Older eye-fi cards like this one no longer work as wifi-cards. I just bought it..and i just found this out because i had issues like this, and i could not get it to work.

  • Bought it for a computer challenged elderly family member

Our local Walmarts will no longer process 35mm film. My elderly family member was at a total loss, since she only owned 35mm film type cameras. A digital camera was provided to her, but she just could not comprehend the steps to download, post to Facebook or email the photographs. I checked around, like most of you do, and discovered many blogs about Eye-Fi. I bought it, installed it, and explained the very few and easy steps required to use. She is using it like a Pro! Ok, so it was for my mother-in-law, and having said that, well, my wife is happy again, and so I'm I. Thanks Eye-Fi! :-)

  • Awesome time-saver!

Wowzers - super-easy! The Eye-Fi goes into your camera, just like a regular memory card. There is a "stick" that goes into one of your USB ports, and that interacts with the card. The pictures go straight to a folder on your computer. The pictures start transmitting once the camera (with the Eye-Fi card inside) is within a certain range of the computer & "stick." If the camera goes off or is moved out of range, it keeps track of where it left off and continues on from there once is it back on and / or in range again. If it helps to know, I have a Canon Rebel T2i.

  • Great item very easy to use make my camera easy to download Pictures.

Got a Camera I use this to download picture my Computer this thing is great. easy to use plan on buying another for the Family.
