Did not ship for days. Mainboard box was very damaged, much more than the box it shipped in. Metal chipset heatsink/fan was broken off the mainboard and rattling around against it, damaging pins. I checked it anyway. RGB lighting did not work. Asked for refund, seller offered $99 but I did not want to use a potentially unreliable mainboard. No communication from seller, just the refund offer. When they did not provide return shipping information, ebay refunded me. Not a pleasant experience.

    AMD CPU FX-8350 Black Edition 4.0 GHz With Wraith Cooler AM3+ FD8350FRHKHBX

    Pros: Works as expected and has a good price for performance. avg FPS in World of Warcraft is between 70 and 140 using a 34 inch ultra wide screen. Cons: Not as fast as I was hoping for. Ended up ordering new board, cpu, ram, psu to handle the intensity of Twitch + Fraps + Raiding in World of Warcraft. $$ Sink for I7-6850K. Appears wow has issues trying to use multiple cpu cores past 4 and due to the difference in architecture an I5 performs better than amd high end CPU's for this situation.

    Excellent Cpu if your going Amd

    Excellent Cpu preforms very well at stock clock speeds but can easily be overclocked with the right mobo. Cpu runs on the hot side during intense gaming but can easily be fixed with liquid cooling or a better then stock cooler, although the wraith cooler is much better then the usual stock coolers.

    fx still rocks

    while fx s are being replaced this fx8350 is still one of the best cpu s out there. if possible get one with wraith cooler for best heating problems......if not get 212 cooler or use h2o cooling..all 3 work great.....anyway 8350fx is one of best for games or doing multiply things thank you jc

    5 out of 5 eggs great CPU with a very nice fan This review is from: AMD CPU FX-8350 Black Edition 4.0 GHz (4.2 GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ FD8350FRHKHBX Desktop Processor with AMD Wraith Cooler Pros: the fan is extremely quiet, so this is much preferred to the regular stock fans. the CPU it self is amazing, and I've had zero issues with it running any games so far and I've tried need for speed 2016 ultra settings, battlefield 4, Starwars Battlefront, Fallout 4, and Doom 2016. all of them run buttery smooth. Cons: i'd expect it to not do so well with some older games that don't utilize multicore processors as well. so i'd definitely go for the Athlon series for that or i3, but with this you kind of future proof yourself since DX12 and Vulkan are increasing multicore proficiency.

    Great AMD Processor

    Great AMD Processor, I'm buying my second. Very fast and dependable, doesn't fail. I also use 32 GB of Kingston DDR3 and Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P motherboard. Anyway I am real happy with the way it performs.
