Outstanding perfromance for the cost; couldn't be happier.
CPU purchased for a home LAN 'server' build. Installed on an ASRock 990FX Extreme3 with 8GB memory, running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Windows Experience rates the CPU at 6.4 (out of 7.9 max), so it performs very well. The PC it is powering has 9 hard drives, plus SSD system disk, sharing out video, pictures, user shares. It also serves as a ShoutCast server, streaming mp3s 24/7. Performance is very good, with low CPU utilization and no bottle-necks or slow-downs whatsoever. I am totally satisfied, especially considering that the cost of the CPU, including shipping, was less that half what a new dual-core AMD is selling for.CPU purchased for a home LAN 'server' build.
