I have owned my 73 inch projection tv since 2007 this was my second purchase of this bulb from shop jimmy and has out performed the factory bulb ten fold, shop jimmy for your projection tv needs

While it was very easy to install, I found its performance to be lacking. After several hours of operation the bulbs heat would cause the tv to shut off and could not be started until it had cooled down. This is very annoying and was not a problem with previous factory bulbs. When the bulbs temperature is kept at its optimal level it's performance was very good. I don't think I'll perchase another from this manufacturer.

It didn't fit into the TV the grooves we're too big to fit into the grooves in my TV to slide in. So the lamp bulb wooden plug in 2 TV. And the casing around the bulb the tabs we're broke the hold the cover over the bulb solar cover kept coming off.if u look on the new bolb the grooves r bigger than the old lamp bolb and i had to put tape on it to get the cover to stay on as u see in one of the picks

Item was bought And installed a day after it arrived. Lamp lasted 32 days and went out. Ordered another 1 from a different company and installed it about a week or so after and has worked flawlessly. The 1st Lamp I purchased from xa-electronics and I noticed when I removed their lamp housing that the bulb had a wire coming out of the lamp and was soldered unlike the old original bulb I had removed having a bolt that secures the wire to a screw on top of the lamp. Pic 1 lamp purchased from xa-electronics shows the flimsy wire soldered at top of lamp. Pic 2 is of my old original lamp and shows a nut holding wire screwed down on top of lamp.
