Bioware's original space-opera trilogy concludes with Mass Effect 3, in the signature RPG-shooter style of its predecessors. Players resume the role of series protagonist Commander Shepard, once again customizable in appearance and character development. Combat is made more challenging by smarter computer-controlled opponents that adjust their tactics in the middle of a fight. An increased emphasis on melee and movement leads to closer, more furious battles. Players chart the course of the adventure by traveling to remote planets and choosing which missions to attempt.<br><br>Decimated by a force of soulless invaders, known only as the Reapers, the human race is on the brink of extinction. It is left to the player to ply influence, make alliances, and discover the galactic secrets that are the last hope for human survival. Players have the option to import saved data from both previous Mass Effect games, in order to continue their own personalized narratives, or to start fresh with a new iteration of the hero. Shepard adventures along with a diverse crew of specialists, also customizable by the player. Weapons can be upgraded with scopes, grips, and other looted parts.<br><br>The limited N7 Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3 offers players a number of extras and bonuses, both material and virtual. Packaged in a metal case, the special edition includes a fabric N7 patch, a comic from Dark Horse, a 4" by 6" lithograph, and a 70-page hardcover book of art from the game's development. N7 Collector's Edition owners also gain access to in-game items, including the "N7 Arsenal Pack" of rare firearms, additional outfits for Shepard and the crew, and a robotic canine companion that "lives" onboard the ship.

    More than just an ending.

    I have bought this game multiple times on multiple devices and I have to say it's easily my favorite sci-fi franchise ever. The FTL technology that the series is named after (Element Zero and it's effect on mass) is much more understandable and I think collaboration with real physicists paid off. The story is also compelling because it makes you realize that even now there could be tons of life in the galaxy and it's may be eons older than us. Not many stories go so far to change your perspective like this one. If you play RPG types and you magi0 a normal human being and you'll probably play through this once (or the same way every time like me) there are very few flaws in the game at all. This is the pinnacle of EA publishing before their quality plummeted.

    A Must-Have for the Mass Effect Fan!

    This particular incarnation of the Mass Effect universe is very well put together, lots of extra goodies and the art and graphics are just superior to any other edition of the games that I have had! It is older now, and the coupon does not work, but the price could not be any more reasonable. The patch is awesome!

    An Amazing Experience That You Would Be A Fool To Miss!!!!

    I own every Mass Effect game for every system that it is available to say I am a fan of the franchise is an understatement. Again, I absolutely love the Mass Effect Franchise and this game does not disappoint on the excitement that I had built up. The story line is amazing and you are able to see a beautiful and definitive conclusion to many different missions and stories that begin in the other games. You get to interact with friends that you have made as their missions and stories come to a close, friends such as Mordin and Thane. These ends to be quite honest are some of the best things I have ever experienced in my time as a gamer. I have been invested in the outcome of other characters in other games but never have I felt the connection that I do with Mass Effect. These missions and ...

    This came in perfect time. It was a gift for my brother and everything specified in the ad was accurate. He loved the gift. This game is amazing and most likely my favorite game of 2012. If you like actions/role playing games with a rich story and lush environments I recommend this game. Would definitely buy from this seller again. Worth it.
