    A wonderful expansion pack

    I enjoy the Sims franchise. I have all of the Sims 2 expansion packs for the PC and this one is a great addition! I like all of the clothes and furniture pieces offered for my Sims. Game does not lag at all.

    This is a stuff pack, you must own the original Sims 2 game to play. As a stuff pack, Glamour Life adds objects, clothing, and decorating objects to the game. The new collection of furniture is meant to appeal to high end, rich and glamorous sims. There is matching bedroom, dining, and living room sets. While new furniture is always welcome, the style is rather retro and old fashioned. It has a 1960's vibe that won't appeal to many peoples' taste. The new art, lighting, walls, floors, and knick-knack objects are similarly old fashioned. The new clothing options are a bit better. Most of the new clothes are categorized as formal wear, with a few glamorous everyday options. There are many options of new tuxedos and gowns for your adult sims.     Indulge in a glamorous life with this collection of luxurious furniture, fashionable clothing, and dazzling décor items. Redesign your Sims' home with modern bedroom living room, and dining room sets, or turn head with elegant gowns, suave formalwear, and cool casual styles. Live the good life! The idea behind the stuff packs is great but Maxis is going to have to work on the particulars for the packs to be a success. The artwork is lovely, the furniture very sleek and the outfits are great. However $19.99 is too much for my budget when this stuff pack only includes 60 items. Same as Family Fun I'm waiting until Glamour drops to $10-12. Although the clothes for the adults are really nice I think it would have been good to add dressy clothes for elders and children too.     TS2 GLS is the best "Stuff Pack" so far!

    Many people have opinions on the new stuff packs that come out for The Sims2. First, we had the Holiday Pack and it added some holiday flair to the game. However, the holiday pack really is for that time of year and not many seem to use these items year-round. This stuff pack did not need to be registered. Family Fun Stuff pack came out and added nautical themes, princess and shiny knights with dragon decor to the game. Great pack for Sim families, but I have not used much of this pack since I play mostly with adult Sims and build for the exchange. Glamour Life Stuff, I think, is the best of all three of the packs. There are 60 new items which include: furniture, a new stereo, floor files and wall patterns, a decent amount of new outfits, only one new hair do, lots of wall art and also ...

    Glamour Life Stuff Expansion

    I bought this game because I like to keep up to date on all of the expansion packs for The Sims 2. Each new expansion brings new objects and fun to the game. This is not my favorite expansion, however. It looked really interesting when I looked at it at the store, but I have found that there aren't as many new items/objects that I thought and hoped for. I still think it is a good expansion, but in my opinion, it's not the best.
