    Good printer until ink cartridge cover wears out

    I have owned the same printer for about 8 years with no problems until recently the lid to the ink carriers both broke, one after the other. I ordered another used printer (same model) because I still had ink cartridges to use up and had the same problem with the ink carrier covers. Seems like after so many years of good service the plastic latch wears out and there is no way to use it without the cartridge covers tight. I tried taping them closed but it says no ink cartridge. I guess its true nothing lasts forever.

    X5470' Printer

    There is no thinking about it I know that this is a 4 star printer. I own one previously. I bought it when they first came out and it just recently started to have paper jams. Had to have another. Found a refurbished one on ebay and I'm happy all over again. It works for me

    Lexmark X5470 AIO Printer Used

    I love this printer! Had one just like it under warranty and the ink cartridge holder broke :( I looked at a lot of other new models, but found this one used! Great seller! I'm so happy I was able to get this model! Printer has great print quality, scan image is crystal clear, fax comes in handy and copy is better than most professional providers. This printer is perfect for home office use. It doesn't take refilled cartridges, but I get about 150 pgs out of black cartridge and it works well for me! Thanks ebay!

    I was thrilled to find this Lexmark. I have purchased other printers but these days they even make them so convuluted that I can't figure them out. But not the Lexmark. It is efficient, dependable, wonderful with all features. I can't understand why they don't keep making them. I can't say enough for this excellent printer.
