    does not work with A/C powerline ethernet extender modules

    I bought this to cover half my house, planning to run the Ethernet to it via the Netgear XET1001 units I have. But as soon as you plug the D-Link into the same power outlet, the Netgear unit loses sync with its base unit. Obviously there is some serious RF interference feeding through the power adapter. Sigh.

    The right balance between pro and house use. User friendly, great price.

    This product works great, it's easy set-up for the self doer. Great reception, refurbish price way better than lower quality items. usb option is an excellent add-on, even if it slows the signal a little, it's still beats plugin the external HD to each computer every time you need to use it. my printer is available for all my household mobiles (need proper app to work, so play with it a little). but it beats having to go to computer once you found it on your smart phone.

    the best router i ever got for a good price

    i need a router because i got internet and i have a PlayStation 3 and i laptop. so i was look for a router that can let me play online and use the internet without lag for a cheap price. i got this router for about 50 dollar. one of the best spec. about this router is that you can connect a portable usb hard drive to the router as a network hard drive and it saves so much space in my laptop. the wireless is good is covers my whole house and about a good 30-40 ft outside with wireless N. I do wish the wireless G was a little stronger but it does the job. This router is a must buy for a budget under 100

    Outstanding router!!!

    I replaced my old Linksys G band router with this used D-Link N router, and the switch over was flawless. I simply followed the instructions on the included software, and I was up and running again under 30 minutes. Plus, I installed the software, read the manual on the disk for instructions, so that I can now send print jobs from my lap top to my printer through the router to the printer. I love it. The router works great, and the wireless signal reaches all parts of my 3 story house. D-Link works for me.

    Good router

    Before I had old router Dir-300, but on technology VPN L2TP it didn't give out more than 5 Mbits. Therefore I have decided to buy replacement in the name of DIR-628. The good copy has got. My expectations have justified - the Internet is used now on all of 100 %! Very good device, very stable and quickly. It is bad that isn't present gigabits ports, but while such speeds aren't necessary to me.
