This wireless router has a Wi-Fi Protected Setup, or WPS, button for super quick client connection. It also supports wireless data transfer speeds of up to 450 Mbps, but Wi-Fi isn't its only strength. You can easily connect wired legacy hardware to leverage GHz speeds. With four Gigabit Ethernet ports, it's simple to link gaming consoles, computers, and media devices together. Do you want to share files without spending hours trying to configure hardware? This router's USB port is compatible with Netgear ReadyShare technology. Simply plug in an external NTFS or FAT32 hard drive for straightforward LAN access.     Nice set of features, limited range with 5G. Excellent value!

    I bought this router to handle a growing number of devices in my home (iPad, iPhone, laptops, etc.) I like the fact that is has 2 bands option, however the 5G range is quite limited and when I move a few rooms away from the router in my house, the signal strength drops significantly and I have to switch to 2.4G for a stronger signal. Having external antennas could probably offer extended range and improve the usefulness of the 5G option. Overall quite happy with my purchase. It's hard to get better features and performance for the price.

    Great Product read this if you have UVerse

    Overall a great router for me, the only reason it's not 5 stars all the way around might not be it's fault. I'm using it instead of my Uverse router which has problems streaming video to certain devices. After I got the whole thing set up, I found my network on half of my devices then couldn't find it again. I called tech support and according to them AT&T had changed the configuration so I went back and plugged into the router and sure enough my network name and password had both been changed! Frustrating, weird, andnow I have an impossibly long and random network name and password. Like I said it didn't sound like something I could blame on the router, but the whole thing just took a while to set-up because of those issues.

    Best WiFi router I've ever owned.

    This is the best WiFi router I've ever owned. It has all the features and speed I need. Easy set up and installation. Great software that allows file sharing through a USB flash drive plugged into the unit. Very powerfull signal and it finds a WiFi channel that is open to eliminate or reduce traffic interferance. No drops and has consistent speeds. Seamlessly interfaces with all my devices such as TV's, Stereo, DVD players, iPads, laptops, desktops, with plenty of bandwidth. It allows for guest set up that can be turned on and off easily.
