Seagate Momentus 7200.3 Good Buy
I like that the Seagate 7200 model is faster and quieter compared to other 5400 hard drives. It nicely into my Dell D520 laptop and there has not been a problem with it after it was cleanly installed. The only issue I had was transferring data from a non seagate drive to an external and attempting to use this as a means to create an image onto the new drive. Otherwise, I enjoy this model more than my old 5400 Travelstar.I like that the Seagate 7200 model is faster and quieter compared to other 5400 hard drives. Perfect and did exactly what I needed it to!
The hard-drive went out of my Mom's laptop, so I ordered this one to replace it. It works great, and the service was fast!

Bad Hard Drive. Seagate will not honor warranty
Seagate basically does not warrenty this hard drive if you dont buy it directly from them. If it dies or gives poor performance like mine, your stuck. Another of example why our economy is going down the flush. Hence a bargain is no longer a bargain and marketing definitely does not cut the mustard. Shame on Seagate/Maxtor. I have purchased many Seagate/Maxtor hard drives in the past internal and external, After learning this it will be the very last.Seagate basically does not warrenty this hard drive if you dont buy it directly from them. Great Hard Drive
Installed into my HP NC6400 created three partitions and installed Windows XP Pro, 7 Ultimate, and Cloned my existing Vista Ultimate to the third partition. They all work great.
