Mitsubishi HC6800 Replacement Lamp
After Mitsubishi Electric discontinued their projector product line, I was concerned in finding replacement lamps. However, I was elated to have purchased this OEM bulb / generic housing package. It works as an OEM should with bright and sharp image quality. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one as a spare from the same Seller.

Almost a fit, but works just fine.
Although this unit looks like the one that came with my projector, it was not a good fit. I was hoping for a simple remove and replace of the unit and be done with it. That was not the case. In the end, it was necessary to completely remove the lamp from this unit and put it in the original unit. (It was not any overly tricky thing to do.). Once back in place the lamp works quite well. Next time I may opt for just the lamp (bulb) -- but it may be years before that is needed.Although this unit looks like the one that came with my projector, it was not a good fit.
