Medal of Honor: Allied Assault was introduced in 2002 and still holds up decently to today's standards. In my experience so far it is nearly as nice as Call of Duty part 1. The game has some nice features and good graphics. You have a good variety of weapons and the interface is realistic. The missions are creative and imaginative and keep your attention. Although I like this game...there are a few shortfalls which keep it apart from COD I. You can only aim down the site of the sniper rifle, making the other weapons like the springfield less accurate. Your man cannot lie down in the prone position..only crouch and standing. Otherwise...the game plays very much like COD I and would be an enjoyable addition to anyone who likes to play this game. Hope this helps in making your choice. DougRead full review
If you're expecting a stand-up fight, you're likely to be disappointed. However, this game has grown on me. Although the graphics are somewhat dated, the game is very atmospheric. I also love the sound of the gunfire. The weapon sounds are the best of any WWII game I've played so far. This game involves a LOT of sneaking around. You're not going to get more than a couple of steps charging into the open. You need to use cover, and you need to be very patient. That said, expect to die a lot. Some people have said this game is like "James Bond 007 vs. the Nazis" and I think that's a fair assessment. Although the game is called "Allied Assault", most of the missions are Intelligence-related commando missions, and most of the time, you'll be completely alone. When you're not alone, don't expect much help from your compatriots. They mostly get in the way. There was only one mission where I was glad they were there, and that was just because I had a medic patching me up ever couple of minutes. If you're looking for a run-and-kill game, you'll be disappointed. On the down-side, I was disappointed with several cases of enemy-respawning, especially those moments of infinite-enemy-respawning where the enemies keep coming until you complete some task (or turn off the dreaded alarm). There were also a few cases where I had to complete a task in a very particular way or I would be killed. In one rare case, the only solution was to run like a maniac, firing at everything in my path until I reached the 'get-away vehicle'. Still, the game has grown on me, and it has a lot of fun moments.Read full review
Great game and expansions! This game was awesome back in the day and it is still, everything I remembered and more. Don't buy this game if you have newer Windows like 10. Will not work. Windows Vista will work greatly, of course anything older than vista will work as well

If you want to taste history this game for you. Graphics are good but don't try to compare to year 2019! Story is epic based on historical events and facts and gives you the sense of D Day and the following months. Adjustable different skill levels makes enjoyable for a wide player group. It is a winner game
