Best deal for Maxell CD-R 80 Music for Audio CD recorders
Being a supporter and fan of Maxell audio recording products now for 45 years, and working in the broadcast industry since 1984, I can say that the Maxell CD-R 80 32X Music Gold products are just what the package says, "GOLD"! I have used hundreds of these over the last few years, and not ONE SINGLE bad disc I have found in the batches of 25 or 50. That is impressive. These work well in CD-R recorders, as they are intended for. I use them mainly for archiving old cassette recordings, as well as old vinyl recordings for backup and preservation use. Recently I Purchased 200 of these blank CD-R Music discs and went through almost 100 in a weeks timing so far with NO defective discs. I will likely continue to purchase the MAXELL CD-R 80 Music Gold series as long as they offer them. Maxell ... The Maxell CD-R blank music disc always have worked best in my recorder. However, these seem to not work as well as the original, identicle CD-R Music discs I had purchased 10 years ago. What I would really like to find is some of the original white with purple print - Memorex CD-RW Music Only discs.

For stand alone CD Recorders
Designed for stand alone CD recorders like Sony. These are the only discs still available that work on CD Recorders. I've used them for over 18 years and they let you transfer vinyl to CD with great results. They also work great for PC , but there are less expensive discs for that purpose. .
