I use these strings on every guitar I own. Electric or Acoustic.
I made the switch over to Ernie Ball Super Slinky #9's last year because they're so darn easy on the fingers, plus they still sound amazingly great, plus I like the fact that they're Nickel-Round Wound Strings. I put my 1st set on my 1996 Martin DM 6 String, even though Martin sent me a set of their strings with that guitar. But hey, I never did like those heavy #11-what, 52. At first, I thought that they might sound less than but no. They sounded just as good, maybe even better. These are the thickness of the 6-String. My SS-Bass & SS 12 String will be in their reviews. .009 - .011 - .016 - .024 - .032 - .042 ... When this Martin is running electric, yeah you wouldn't be able to tell the difference but unplugged, I believe you are getting the same sound as regular Medium, or even the ...
