My camera arrived with a roll of film already loaded. However, the cartridge was marked as a processed roll. I assume it had been tampered with, which is easy to get with APS cartridges unless they are sealed in a pack. The camera would neither pull the film into to the take-up chamber or rewind the film back to the cartridge. In essence, the film had locked the camera up. With this type of camera design, it would have to be opened up...split in half....to retrieve the film. A few wires would need to be cut and then soldered back. The Profile might be an interesting part of the APS history, but it isn't worth the effort to repair if something went wrong.
