Just reading the title and you'd think this book has to be Southern. Well...no....not southern U.S.A., but southern France! Reynaud comes from a long line of butchers and farmers just southwest of Grenoble. His recipes are rustic and delicious. Recipes that include pork with dates and dried apricots, warm sausage and lentil salad, and even the ultimate bacon club sandwich! There are about 150 recipes with photos. I know a few of the dishes take a little time but they are worth their weight in pork!
