I was hung up on the Google Nexus 6 smartphones for about the last 5 years. I love the large size of the Google Nexus 6 and still miss that aspect with the Google Pixel XL. The Google pixel XL has less space to put icons and apps but the efficiency and speed far out do its predecessor. there is much more AI which I can do without because I know they use it to track all of us but I have ways around that. If you want an updated phone that is lightning fast with excellent picture and video quality this is the phone for you. This is especially true if you are a Google Nexus fan. But I am keeping my Nexus 6 phones also because I just like them. I use the Google Pixel XL for every day and use my other Nexus 6 older phones at night for internet use and multimedia.

eBay's survey questions ask only "yes" or "no" questions for this review. But, it's not always possible to answer that way. (1) Is it a good value - compared to what?, (2) Does it have a long battery life - I just got it, who knows?, (3) Does it have a small form factor - again, compared to what? To my older Nexus 6, yes, definitely it's smaller, but so is the screen by 1/2". Overall, it's a very nice smartphone. I tend to purchase phones at least two years older than the newest model, so for me, I'm very satisfied. Ask me the battery life question in two years time.

It looked like brand new when I bought it! It works perfectly and not mention the battery! I charge once a day and use it for the whole day. I love all the features and I don't regret buying it.

I'm a long time Nexus phone user: been using nexus since Galaxy nexus! This was the natural progression after my Nexus 5x died earlier this year. The pixel XL is only slightly bigger but feels more solid and premium built. The phone hardware zips nicely over all the apps I use, rarely do I have any hang time between opening large videos, games, and websites. As a side note I was able to get a daydream headset to try with my pixel XL, it's a fun experience but I can see how the novelty can wear off. Personally did not get much use from google assistant, but that's just me. All in all, the pixel is the premium phone you would expect it to be. Great build, fast hardware, good battery life (compared to nexus 5x) and the screen is really sharp and great colors. If you're into android; especially the Nexus line, the pixel XL will feel great even compared to other premium android phones. Read full review
