Good camera but don't expect any warranty or back up from Contour Inc
Having owned a Contour GPS - and experienced all the attendant "issues" this is much beteer. No power button hassles, instant on (well 2-4 secs) and waterproof to 1m - so will assume rainproof! Battery life is better too and it doesn't stop just cos you went over a bump on the bike (like the Contour GPS did) Picture quality is below Go Pro Black but then so is price. With Contour Inc calling in receiver these cameras are getting sold off - making them a relative bargain. Mounts can be found cheap to. I've bought loads for the $10 mark. AND mounts are very important as they allow the camera to get used. Awesome camera catch everything ,never no when will get u out of jam

Don't miss out on a great camera.
I am really surprised at how easy this camera is to use. Downloading videos is a snap. Really good picture quality. I mounted the camera with one of the supplied mounts onto the side of my helmet. I have an open top drag car and it has produced excellent videos for me to review after each pass. I would highly recommend this camera for the money.

Amazing, would buy again
The CountourRoam2 is a fully functional high quality action Camcorder. There are many ways to mount this camera on helmets, headsets, and stationary mounts. I would highly recommend this item due to its streamline design for anyone who desires to capture action footage for entertainment or reviewing purposes.

THIS IS THE REAL DEAL FOR THE HARDCORE... Right Price and works well
I had an older model and lost it. I found that this camera is much better than the older models. I wish I had bought the one with Bluetooth, but you get what you pay for. This is great for the price and does a great job. I knew going in that the mic issue is big with these cameras and was prepared to modify the mic system prior to purchasing. The battery holds up through 32MB of video and more which on 720 is great. The color is good and it gives you the riders view. It tucks in well and don't look out of place on your helmet, but part of the unit.I had an older model and lost it. I found that this camera is much better than the older models.
