Pros: The appearance conveyed a precision instrument. The keys are much easier to use than other Moto Razr types of phone. Balance when held in the hand. Very clear photos with the camera, I looked at an LG CU515 which took many blurry pictures. Clear sounding, but I have the advantage of an excellent coverage at home. This is my only phone. Great to have an expandable memory. The TWO screens are excellent, probably the best I have seen in a flip phone. Cons: Shorter than expected battery life and I don't even text. Get a case to protect the two excellent screen. I got the phone used and unlocked, the previous owner took good care of it, but there are few "mm" scratches on the screen. The speaker only works when you are making, or receiving a call, the manual did not specified that. Did not work well with T mobile in my area, but that is not the phone's fault. Recommendation: Yes, yes, better when unlocked.Read full review
Good front screen size with touch screen to view messages, pictures, videos or music. Also alsow easy self portrait shots with camera. Speaker phone comes out loud and clear. Navigation is easy and phone is fairly simple to figure out. Only two drawbacks for me: 1. Alaram does not allow you to pick the day of the week for it to go off. and also once it goes off you have to disable it to stop ringing and to use it again the next morning you must enable it again. Really annoying cus i forget to re-enable and wake up late 2. The email features really suck and don't allow MS outlook or gmail.
The V9x can use a 8G transflash so you can store a few video and lots of music. It has GPS but is not worth the monthly fee to use it. It has a Sirius radio app but again the fees to use it are not worth it even though I have Sirius in the car. The bluetooth works well and I can stream to the home stereo. The pictures can be printed to my Kodak 5300 printer that has a bluetooh adapter and I have printed to my HP Colorsmart C8100 with built-in bluetooth. I have been able to sync contacts to my Mac Laptop via bluetooth. The software that AT&T supplies is missing the "talking phone feature" which I would pay to have. There are a few bugs that AT&T will not fix. The phone will reboot for not apparent reason. My next phone will be an Android or maybe an iPhone.
The phone is absolutely wonderful and love the screen size, keyboard, look of the phone, color. The clarity of the screen, font sizes and video camera are outstanding. The only issue was that at times the phone blanks out. Not sure if it's a signal problem or the phone since it was bought used. With the problems I still would not change the phone. It also does not give you the option to split received from dialed calls on the menu but it's worth the inconvenience. I love it
I bought this phone because i thought it could perform special features such as adding ringtons to a call and reading messages out loud.I do like the phone cause it's very sleek and flippable, I like that i have no problem telling time and listening to music oh and of course the key pad is the right size for my fingers.I don't like that I CAN NOT put a ringtone to ABSOLUTELY nothing, but overall it's a very NICE phone ,i would purchase a up to date model of the phone hoping that it can deal with the ringtone situation.
