This phone just works well. It supports the latest releases of Android (at least through marshmallow). It is fast. It has excellent reception. The battery life is quite good (not the best, but plenty of battery for 24 hrs of mixed, moderate use). This phone also has a much smaller form factor than many of the phones available today. If you are looking for a phone to use to update spreadsheets or watch HD movies ... this may not be your best choice. On the other hand, if you are looking for a phone that actually fits in your pocket, but has all of the smart features ... this phone should be on your short-list.

I just purchased the Samsung Galaxy Alpha LCD Shadow phone. No where in the description of this phone does it say there will permanently be a running man and ad on your screen that you can not take off. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please help! The owners can not help, so they say... VERY disappointed!

So far, I am loving this phone! It is pleasingly shaped...thin and sleek. I have small hands, and this phone is a good fit. It also fits in a pocket which is a big plus. It is user friendly and has all the features expected in a Samsung product. It has 32GB of storage. It is an older model, but I was pleased when I went to the ATT store to activate it, the service person commented on what a great phone it was and how was surprised they had carried it for only a short time. I was thrilled to find it at a reasonable price.
