Thank you outstanding Ebay seller! I wear a size small but I know this brand runs small so I asked the seller to kindly send measurements on this size large jacket. The seller complied in good demeanor immediately! Shipped & delivered promptly. It’s not only as pictured & described; it’s beautifully new & clean. I am grateful.

Cheap price does not reflect WOW factor upgrade.

I got a free HP rp5700 computer. I wanted to run it as a DAW (digital audio workstation). I put the Q8300 CPU in (easy), added 8GB of memory, a 1TB drive and a decent graphics card and a Asus Xonar DX audio card (already had this). Bottom line, for @ $80 I got a machine that easily handles Presonus Studio One 3 Artist, Izotope Nectar, Izotope Ozone 5, Vocalsynth and IK Sampletank 3. So happy. Handles it like a champ. ps: I did a bios update first.

  • Great processor for the cheaper LGA 775 motherboards.

While the Q8xxx series of the Core 2 Quad lineup aren't the most powerful, they can just edge out the Q6600 on base clock. For those cheaper boards, these will be great if you aren't looking to spend more than $11.00.

  • Easy upgrade for intel core duo.

This processor is a perfect upgrade for an old Dell Optiplex 760 core duo desktop that I use mainly as a media centre.. Really easy to swap. Now have a Core 2 Quad that runs many applications better.

  • serves its purpose. Big upgrade from a duo

Product worked well. Runs FSX much smoother. Something I didn't know about upgrading processors is that you should first update the bios of the motherboard otherwise the computer may not boot up. The heat sink this came with was much smaller than the one I took off. I'm guessing this is because it naturally runs cooler than the 2.2 duo core I had on before. The fan assembly fastens down with the same old lame push/turn plastic worthless things as before. It comes pre-pasted with the heat transfer grease but it seemed dried up, so I recommend wiping it off and buying some new at radio shack and applying a very thin coat.

  • Good CPU for everyday use

Its the last of the C2Q that intel will make. It a good CPU for everyday computing and media. its just not the best at over clocking Only running with a 7.5 multiplier. Personally i got it to 3.5Ghz Thats all the more it really wants to go. maybe a little bit more, then its unstable.
