Das Canon EF L IS USM Objektiv verfügt über Brennweiten und eine Blende von 24 mm - 105 mm F/4.0. Befestigt wird das Canon Kameraobjektiv mithilfe des Canon EF Befestigungssystems. Neben diversen anderen Einstellungen, steht einem Fotografen ein bis zu 4,4-facher Zoom zur Verfügung, sowie eine automatische Fokussierung, die auf Wunsch auch manuell nachgebessert werden kann. Das 670 g schwere Canon EF IS USM Objektiv hat eine Tiefe von 10,7 cm und einen Durchmesser von 8,4 cm. Mit dem hohen Brennweiten und einer Blende von 24 mm - 105 mm F/4.0 bietet das Canon EF L IS USM Objektiv genug Spielraum für viele unterschiedliche interessante Aufnahmen. Sowohl bei Makroaufnahmen, als auch bei Landschaften, wird die Schärfe dem Motiv entsprechend angepasst. Das Canon Kameraobjektiv eignet sich deshalb auch sehr gut, als Ersatz für ein Standardobjektiv. Mit einem Gewicht von lediglich 670 g fällt das Objektiv im Gepäck auch nicht unangenehm auf. Für Aufnahmen aller Art, steht dem Nutzer ein Zoom für bis zu einer 4,4-fachen Vergrößerung zur Seite, sodass auch weit entfernte Objekte nah an die Linse kommen, Makroaufnahmen werden mit Zoom besonders dramatisch. Ebenfalls nützlich, bei dem Canon Kameraobjektiv, ist der integrierte Verwackelungsschutz, mit dem, auch ohne Stativ, stets sehr ruhige Aufnahmen gelingen und selbst bei maximalem Zoom entstehen so extrem scharfe Bilder. Das Canon Kameraobjektiv arbeitet nahezu lautlos, sodass der Auslöser weder den Fotografen, noch lebende Motive stört. Aufgrund seiner Vielseitigkeit ist das Canon Kameraobjektiv bestens für ambitionierte Hobbyfotografen, mit gehobenen Ansprüchen an die Bildqualität, geeignet. Excellent value at discounted price. Very compact compared with Canon 24-70 2.8. IS compensates for 4.0 max aperture. Excellent all-round lens to keep on camera, a 5D MarkII.

Great Focal Range for Walkaround Lens
This lens has great build quality. The zoom and focus rings are smooth. The auto focus is really fast. Image quality is superb. The colors, contrast and sharpness are great. 24-105mm is a very useful range. As I suspected this lens is going to be my main lens. It's a great all around and walk around lens because of it's focal range. F4 is good enough with today's cameras when raising the ISO. Going for F2.8 hasn't been an issue with me. With IS, I'm able to hand hold a shot at low shutter speeds.This lens has great build quality. The zoom and focus rings are smooth. The auto focus is really fast. Image quality is superb. The colors, contrast and sharpness are great. 24-105mm is a very useful range. As I suspected this lens is going to be my main lens. It's a great all around and walk around lens because of it's focal range. F4 is good enough with today's cameras when raising the ISO. Going for F2.8 hasn't been an issue with me. With IS, I'm able to hand hold a shot at low shutter speeds.

Great Lens at a Great Price
Awesome lens. Great depth of field. Precision focus, light weight and easy to use. I had bought this lens before and sold it. This copy seems to be much better and I use it as my walk around lens. Since I put it on my camera, I haven't taken it off.

I wanted a general walkaround lens for my 40d and I picked either 17-55 2.8IS or the 24-105 f4LIS. Pricewise a used L lens cost similar to the ef-S lens so for me I am very happy with the results, super sharp and really steady lens to use. I have heard there are dust issues with it being sucked in on the 17-55, so for me the better build quality combined with the extra reach of the 24-105 did it for me, You will not be disappointed with this lens.I wanted a general walkaround lens for my 40d and I picked either 17-55 2.8IS or the 24-105 f4LIS.
