I have been seeking to replace a Windows 950XL since Microsoft pulled the plug and WhatsApp is no longer supported. Android is not best fit for me but since I cannot get on with IOS I don't have much choice. After a week with this Mate 20 pro I don't have any complaints. This device is grade B refurbished at £244, it only needed new lens glass to make right. Considering the price of current flagships and mid range devices the Mate 20 pro still holds it's own and performs well. To me this was better value than going for a current midrange model. This device updated to Android 10 and EMUI 10 with an April 1st 2020 security patch in early June 2020. The battery life is everything the reviews say. I am very heavy on usage and always get through the day with charge left. The screen is a delight and was an important feature in my considerations coming from the 950XL. I was unsure about the curved edge display when considering the phone but now I have it I am very happy with it. I use a clear case to retain as much of the looks as possible while having a good grip on the device. Facial recognition has worked very well for me and finger print sensor too. I find the sound in calls and when using to play media very acceptable for this sort of product. My background has been in Audio since the late 70's. Just be carful about getting too tied up with Huawei support features which end up wanting to sell you themes and other non essential apps.Read full review

Very good. Product as described. No physical dents. Arrived on time had all accessories. I had the battery on 98% yesterday haven't charged it and today it is currently on 48% so much better than my old phone. Would highly recommend the mate 20 Pro to anyone. It is an ex demo. Not sure how it compares to brand new, but seems to be fine.

Excellent phone very intuitive, battery life is excellent over 2 days on a charge with heavy use, endless settings to personalise to your own taste.
