Eis gab den Eindruck eines möglichen Risses, weshalb die direkt darüber liegende Lackierung entfernt wurde. Dennoch konnte die Stelle nicht als Spalt durch etwas Druck geöffnet werden. Zur Sicherheit habe ich noch etwas dünnflüssigen Leim darüber gegeben und erneut Druck zur evtl. Öffnung ausgeübt. Darüber wurde erneut etwas Schellack in ähnlicher Farbe des Stiga Griff-Lackes gegeben. Somit sieht alles wie ursprünglich aus. Optisch gibt es den dazugehörigen Streifen immer noch. This blade is in a near to new look and state. There are no edge-hits, no bottom problems and every sticker is on its place. There was a line visible, which could be possible a hairline-crack at part handle to head. So I take off the varnish over it and try to open it with a little bit of pressure but no opening visible. I put on some liquid-glue and try again to open. If there was a hairline-crack, now it is fixed. Over this part, I put some shellac for the same look.”
