    Superb upgrade for Microserver Gen8

    Very simple to install. Recognised straight away and worked instantly. My server struggled to transcode 1080p Plex streams while doing other things. Now it's super smooth and can handle multiple streams with ease. Runs very cool not noticeably more than the original CPU did. Very pleased.

    Microserver Gen8 CPU upgrade

    Bought two of these Xeon CPU's to upgrade a pair of HP MicroServers (entry level Gen8 with Celeron cpu's). The installation was very easy and the CPU's were recognised by the system immediately without any fuss.

    Cheap alternative to I7s

    Put this in a server that was running a I3 and it is noticeably snappier even thought the peak Ghz speed was a bit lower. Runs super cool and the packaging was adequate.

    great buy for extra performance in gen8 microserver

    Works as expected, installation was easy and it was a great way to increase performance of the gen8 microserver. Package was okay, could have been isolated a bit more but it apparently has not harmed the cpu's.
