I brought this for my niece for her 4th birthday, she already has chickens, tortoise & a dog & helps look after them all very well 😍 but she wanted another pet & my sister told me my niece was after sea monkeys 😊 She’s had them 2 weeks now & absolutely loves them so much she sings to them & has even made her own sea monkey song for them 😍 she still chooses to help look after her other pets & look after these sea monkeys as well as go to school 😁 she even reads to them & is asking for more 😊 I can’t recommend these “pets” highly enough, especially for little ones wanting there very own pet 😁 the “bubbles” in the tank are magnifiers & you can look through at different angles! I bought this as a project for a child at school. We followed all the instructions but the sea monkeys died within 3 days. Of course we could have potentially not done 1 part well enough but we did follow the steps closely so it was a bit disappointing. Luckily I had bought some spare eggs so we could start again and this time has been more successful. The tank itself is good however and was easy to clean for reuse.

I like the seamonkey tank beautiful colour pink . however I tried to grow seamonkeys but none hatched. Is been more then a week. maybe water temperature was not right . I would use this tank try again hope works like used to loads years ago. I like sea monkeys very entertaining but not entertaining now because there no sea monkeys yet oh dear
