Delivery time was not express but I didn't have to wait long. As should be it took no time to piece together with no problems. Filled the large tank plugged in and waited for steam. I've had electric kettles take longer so that was a plus. Although it was generating a good amount of steam the hose stayed cool enough to handle. the first strip of heavy (pattern embossed) wallpaper was of within the minute of introducing the scrapper. Then my smoke detector activated so the process was brought to a halt. I emptied the tank into the mop bucket and was pleased to say that there was still plenty of water, in fact it was almost full. Should I be asked to provide a negative it would be that there is nothing to catch the water that runs down the wall which would help to keep the job that much cleaner. I'm pleased to say that my entrance hall is now paper free, the steamer is non the worse for the job The hose is long enough for you to work that bit further away from the reservoir.Read full review

Bought this thought it was faulty as it keeps cutting off midway through using it .... So got replacement and doing the exactly the same thing been sitting here for 30mins trying 2 get the machine working again!!! Bought about month ago and between waiting on the thing working and getting replacement am still trying 2 strip the same room!!! The power cable pulls down so its not fitting the connection properly so cuts off then it cuts off if you use it for more than 30mins night mare of an machine

I would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact the electric cable is loose and every time I move it or accidentally touch the cable is disconnects. I have stripped a whole house including some ceilings with ease. It has helped what would have been a very long job without it.

I'm not using this as a wallpaper stripper I'm using it as a hay steamer for my horse. Branded hay steamers are expensive, £200+. So, I leave the plate off and put the pipe into my bag of hay, covered with a plastic bag. Works a treat, and at a fraction of the cost! Thanks so much!
