Well, it is a huge leap from corded VC to cordless top brand VC. Pros: - Easy to manoeuvre - Very good suction power - Easy to empty - Easy to detach/attach accessories - Easy to carry from room to room Cons: - Have to switch attachments for hard floor when using the carpets one and vise versa (annoying) - Won't stand on its own, so will have to lie it down safely to move things around or when doing something else while not using it - 40 minutes using normal suction power is reduced to 10 minutes on high suction setting - One of the attachments collects the dust but does not suck it in - Takes quite few hours to fully charge, which is annoying if in the middle of vacuuming Overall, I think it is a matter of adaptation and time to get used to the new addition which all of the family members are happy with.Read full review

I was delighted to have a cordless cleaner for the first time. Just not trailing a cord is a big leap forward. It is reasonably light and handy to lift off the dock for small jobs which you might leave if you had to get the big heavy corded cleaner out. The product has two levels of power. The lower one is not really strong enough for every day vacuuming. The higher one is good but means that the charge time runs out more quickly. There are an assortment of different head tools, but there is no provision for storing them or carrying them about with you. In the end I purchased a separate caddy to keep and carry them in, but it is not dedicated for the job so doesn't keep them very organised. I haven't had it very long so hard to say whether it's going to be reliable.

Vacuum cleaning is now being done frequently as and when needed, usually around a minute in the kitchen. It’s no longer a chore. You’ll be amazed what it picks up on my carpets. Our young kids drop small bits of food all the time and before we used to step on them and carry them around the house - well, this is no longer the case. The refurb model looked brand new as far as I could see. Really pleased with the purchase.

The vacuum arrived in excellent condition and could pass as brand new. This is my first Dyson purchase so I had high expectations for a cordless vacuum- which it definitely met. Everything is in working order and looking forward to getting the most out of it! All attachments were included and the two head attachments were also in brilliant condition. Every aspect of the vacuum is easy to use with red buttons to easily detach/attach other components. Emptying the dust is really simple and easy to deposit in the bin without mess. The vacuum itself is very light and a good size so it is easy to hang on the wall or tuck away for the next use. I will consider more refurbished items in the future so Dyson can carry on being at the forefront of repairing existing products rather than wasting resources.Read full review

Refurbished? Didn’t look like it, looked completely brand new, only a slightly crumpled box at one end. This Dyson is so easy to use, to exchange the fittings, to empty and most importantly to use around the house. We have a mixture of wooden floors and carpets and this will sweep up the hard floors on low power (don’t need full) and then the rest of the carpets on full throttle. Charging doesn’t seem to take long, but we leave it overnight anyway. Importantly, my wife who has a degree of arthritis in her hands finds gripping this and holding on relatively easy. Myself, I love it. I’ve had a GTech and a Bosch Athlet and this beats them both. To sum up, for the price, in particular when compared to new it’s great. I was also able to register with Dyson for its 2 year guarantee.
