The Ocarina of Time: one of the most recognizable in-game collectables in video game history. Now it is a real musical instrument! This is a 12-hole Alto-C range Ocarina of Time replica. This ocarina is a standard sweet potato ocarina with 12 holes varying in notes and pitches. This is a ceramic ocarina with a glossy paint finish and it resembles the Ocarina of Time from the game in many respects. The downside is that when played, some notes seem untuned and sound off. This ocarina like this one should be treated more like a replica ocarina rather than an actual ocarina musical instrument. All in all, this is a cool replica of the Ocarina of Time, but it doesn't play very well. This is an ocarina that would be cool to use as a display piece rather than an actual instrument.

Disappointed with the product received. The ocarina came in a Styrofoam box with nothing else but a string and a print out card with a couple nursery rhyme songs on it. I was expecting a booklet of multiple songs, not just a small print out card with 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' and a couple other nursery rhymes on it. I didn't receive any box or stand like in the photos, and the quality of the instrument is rather low. There is an odd whirring sound with the highest notes on the instrument that I haven't had with any other ocarina. The Styrofoam box clearly had a cut out to hold the stand pictured in the ad, but I didn't get it. Further to all this, there is a divot on the ocarina that make it look just a little less pretty. I'm pretty disappointed as this was a pricier listing for this model of Ocarina.Read full review

I got mine a few days ago and I've picked up a few songs (it comes with a booklet that has some basic songs on it) and it's really enjoyable to play. My only strife with this is that it's difficult to hit high notes with it, which is rather upsetting seeing as how many of us bought this most likely to play the Zelda OoT songs, which normally feature higher notes with a few exceptions. Overall, it's a great instrument to start out with, but if you're looking for something that will perform eloquently at all pitch ranges, you may want to look for something a bit more expensive, great for the price and fast shipping though. 8.5/10

I think it's pretty cool that a videogame has helped boost the popularity of this little known instrument. Got it in good condition. It was shipped in its original box, which was quite sturdy. Tested it out and it makes music sounds, so that's a good sign. Overall a good purchase!

It is a great quality, good looking, and actually a handmade ceramic piece. Not to mention a great sounding instrument. Sure the higher notes take a little effort and may fall a bit flat but you can play just about anything on it. Definitely recommend, for the price you can't go wrong.
