Super Battleship has an interesting mode where you control a few ships under a simulation type mode. The game doesn't really have any depth qualities but it is pretty advanced considering it's a SNES game. The classic battleship mode is pretty fun, although there is no multiplayer mode. It is in the computer's favor under both modes which makes this game pretty challenging. The game does get boring pretty fast though. Don't make this your only game.

Considering it's a late eighties 16-bit format, I'm good with the gameplay; especially the 'classic' battleship game mode. The 'SUPER' mode takes some getting used to, but I like. All in all, a nice swan song to the end of an era :-)
